Will the gay liberal flight attendant get off of being punished BECAUSE he's a liberal gay flight attendant?

I take my hat off to him , what he did took a lot of courage plus losing his job, but why should they have to put up with all the obscenities from the pengers, i mean the guy had his head cut open by the guy , he sounded like a right arrogant pr..k.
