My engine revs continuously after starting?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

it has a vacuum leak some where, the fun part is finding it. gordon also has a point with the throttle cable, it could have been tightened up the wrong direction. pull the cable off and restart. if idle returns to normal. then adjust the cable length so that there is no tension on the throttle linkage.
