About bisque firing raku pieces? Please help me out?

I just did my first Raku firing today, so I know how that process works. The question is about the bisque firing. I am building my own Raku kiln out of soft bricks. Will I be able to bisque fire my peice in the Raku kiln? If so, for how long and at what temperature should I do it? Please help me out. The only part about this awesome pottery is the bisque firing. Can you please explain it in detail? Anything will help. Thank you.
